Residual endotoxin in bacterial recombinant proteins has always been a big disadvantage in their application, and the remove of endotoxin causes additional cost burden. To address this, we have established a novel endotoxin-free recombinant protein expression system in the GRAS bacteria Bacillus subtilis. At the same time, the strong T7 promoter was engineered to construct a high-efficiency protein expression system in B. subtilis. The yields of tested antibody fragments were more than 5 mg/L and the endotoxin level were less than 2 EU/mg proteins without any endotoxin remove steps. Besides, this presentation will also introduce high-through-put gene-to-antibody service in mammalian system, which is capable of delivery of guaranteed high quality recombinant antibodies within 18 business days.
