Gendered Innovations for Molecular Cell Biology Research

September 14 (Thu), 13:20-15:00, Rm. 402

Gendered Innovations for Molecular Cell Biology Research Abstract of Education Program organized by Center for Gendered Innovations in Science & Technology Research (GISTeR)*

'Gendered Innovations' integrate sex and gender analysis into all phases of basic and applied research to stimulate new knowledge and technologies. In so doing,'Gendered Innovations'enhance creativity, innovation, and gender equality. This education program presents 1) general introduction of concepts and 12 state-of-the-art methods of sex and gender analysis for science, health and medical research; and 2) research cases to illustrate how sex and gender analysis leads to discovery in cell biology. Finally, we present guidelines on how to integrate sex and gender analysis into research proposal.
